Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak wore a rather proud grin upon her maw. She was not particularly the sort to be a sneak thief, but she always did have a way with words. The grey woman had, quite successfully at that, acquired the master thief of Asteraia. He was a curious beast, much like many of the other residents of the plains. She sat comfortably at Glorall's borders. Her pale blue eyes were on the horizon, where she knew Cuirass would be. The woman gave a gentle swish of her tail, casting a brief glance to Rangda.

Her first born was sitting quietly to her left. Of the three, the dark colored girl seemed to take the most after her mother. At least in the eyes and color, yet she was a bit more broad. Something visible even in a year; something that she clearly received from her father. Apparently her mother had managed to sneak someone from the plains. It wasn't like she really needed to though, considering Kweku was there. She looked up at Matianak with visible questioning her in silvery blue eyes.

"He will be here, though sadly not for as long as I would like," the woman said to the unsaid question. Matianak had heard the call of challenge, but it was just a touch too late. If Sekhmet had been there the day she had been successful, the woman might have risen to the opportunity. It was too little too late. Let her come collect him herself if she wanted Cuirass so badly. Clearly it wasn't badly enough since Mat had been fully capable to whisking him away.
