Mountain lion on 691

I passed a dead mountain lion east bound on 691 in Cheshire/Meriden this morning. Traffic was backed up passing it then cleared after it so I know hundreds of people saw it as well. It was larger than a Golden and had the distinct long fawny tail with the black pointed tip. I've lived in CO for more than 10 years and have seen plenty of them there to know the difference between a mountain lion and a bobcat.
