From watching the Middy parade here on our website a while ago I recalled the case of an adjutant giving this rather comical version at a parade: "Sir, all present and accounted for. Two men in the canteen, two men in the latrine, and two men which I ain't never seen, Sir! I'm sure Ed Tipshus would have gone ballistic had someone pulled this off at Quantico!
