Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

She seemed almost surprised that he would consider her worth coming down to talk to. Was she really so used to others avoiding her company? He was usually the one doing the avoiding too, ironically enough. But now with no pack and no father, he had a new objective in mind. Studying others. Maybe she wasn't so diverse with her emotions just yet but she would do. He would get all that he could out of this interaction and move on. At least she wasn't bad on the eyes. Maybe a bit on the feral side, but if anything, that only kept his attention. He liked a challenge. The female that he did take that winter years ago was sassy, full of emotions he didn't understand. She wanted to talk and bond with him and never gave up when he told her that he didn't do attachments. She was a stubborn one. This one was a new kind of stubborn. She was wary of him but he could sense a shift in her as they kept conversing.

She straightened up, if only a little, giving off the vibe that maybe she was starting to figure out that he wasn't going to kill her, at least not right now. She was definitely an interesting study. When he asked if she would agree that being on eye level was better, she was quick to disagree. He tilted his head, really taking her in. Why would she disagree? So if eye level wasn't best, what was? He took in her untrusting stance before he met her gaze again. "You don't trust others so you don't like giving them equal ground." He said it as more of an observation than a question, yet he wouldn't disapprove if she wanted to add more to it. But then she got bold, suddenly telling him to teach her. His ears flicked back and forth, unsure of what she meant as her voice trailed off. Then she finished and he lifted a brow. She had to mean talking, right? He could make up an excuse, let her down in his straightforward way, and yet he hesitated.

Why not? He wasn't done studying her. She was more fascinating than most he encountered so maybe he could learn from her as she learned from him. His tail swished behind him and he acted thoughtful for a moment before he nodded. "Okay. Are there certain things you want to say? Any emotional experiences you want to re-enact?" His eyes glittered with subtle purpose. He'd try to get what he could out of this.
