Ed, I'm sorta under the opinion thaat we, as a free society that's influenced the free world, often over think these instances. What it boils down to is that this murdering s.o.b. is a nut case. Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Jew, or atheist; we have lots of them and they all belong in nut houses. But instead of being locked up, they're free to roam and buy guns, which they use to extract their demented idea of vengeance on whoever or whatever their mini-brains imagine. I noticed from the knee-jerk reaction of the NZ left, the solution is to restrict gun ownership of everybody. And these people are supposedly sane and wise.
