Here in CA we finally have a determination that the drought (7 year) is over with full reservoirs and heavy snow pack. The sad part is millions of acre feet of fresh water went directly into the ocean since we have had no new storage constructed in over 40 years. I believe the government did a reasonable job on conservation during the drought but wasting billions on the failed bullet train while not even attempting to store more water is foolish.
