That article is a bit dated. Rick Scott became an ex-Governor about a year ago.
My argument with any of the many seemingly reasonable restrictions on gun ownership is that the second amendment says that "...the right to bear arms shall not be infringed." That says you can't nibble away at that right, and that right covers arms i.e. swords, jet planes, tanks, or any other item of that nature. If a change must be made, it (logically, at least) must be done by amendment to the Constitution. Unfortunately, progressives find that tedious process unacceptable. Replies:
