Had both eyes done , in sequence, almost 20 years ago. During the Op it felt like I was looking at a Kaleidoscope from the inside as I had almost no real pain killers except eye drops and I could hear almost everything the Doc was saying.. Immediately noticed how blue everything seemed after. My wife had the surgery about 5 yrs ago but they put her out so she did not see all the pyrotechnics I did.
