late report but lots of stuff S of Awenda

Sorry for the late report, flooded basement! I had an eagle going over Cty. Rd 6 S of the 16th C. last Saturday. Looked more like a golden, but I only had a 3-second look. No discernible white in the plumage. I saw a golden on Thunder Beach once, many years ago, in the Fall. A kestrel on the wire near there too. The night before coyotes howled in our yard! And YB sapsuckers, 2, on our driveway. a Spring bounty of birds in the yard in the last 2 days - sapsuckers, flickers, hairy, pileated pair, brown creeper, a pair of each nuthatch, 12-15 chickadees, song, white throated sparrows, juncoes, 3-5 turkeys, crows, a raven flying over, SS hawk, probably more I'm forgetting.
Ah Spring!
