Welcome to The X-Files Lost and Found Board.

Having trouble remembering the title or author of a fanfic? Search for it here. Are you a wealth of fanfic knowledge? Please, share it.
But when you post a request, PLEASE be specific in the subject line. Title, author, or genre of fic will narrow down the search and direct
people who may know what you're looking for. Generic or vague "Looking for a fic" subject lines are not helpful, as that's all we do here.
And while off topic posts are allowed, we'd all appreciate an OT in the subject line so we know you're not asking a fic question.
It's all about the fic, so it's all good. Thank you for your co-operation.

And don't forget to check out The Board Guidelines!

Re(1): Thank you!!!

I download from archive.org using this application: https://github.com/hartator/wayback-machine-downloader

you have to install ruby first, which is some kind of command thing, then download it with the install code through there. It's hard to remember exactly except that it wasn't easy - there are instructions but I think i had to watch a youtube video on downloading and using ruby before I could do it. once you download it it's easy - you get a command prompt and you just put the code in to download the site and dates you want and it does it for you. (example underlined in image - except there are underscores that got covered over). I found it was worthwhile working out how to do it. Give me a yell if you need help, but I'd probably have to relearn how I did it
