In early May spring migration is in full swing. Birds are returning to the province in huge numbers, many having flown 1000’s of miles to get here. Some are just moving through, others have found prime nesting habitat and are settling down to find a mate and establish a territory. Birders all over Ontario are out in force to witness this
awe-inspiring spectacle. Why not join Alex Mills on a trip to Washago ( 30 minute drive) to witness this annual ritual?
This will be an approximately 3 k walk. Long pants, water and snacks. Finished by 11.00am
