Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Are we written in the sand

There wasn't much left for her here, but memories. She realized now Soljor was gone from these islands, gone from her life forever. Their love story had been stolen a long time ago. That herd of roaming bachelor that ruined her life was the same group that created Cullen. The boy wasn't always cruel, but unfortunately, his most important growing years were spent with his mother a captive and his role models her captors.

Her own freak out had her full attention so she didn't notice how Ernesto tried to figure her out. Her shoulders fell and raised with every breath, but her chest rattled. Her panic was slowly engulfing her, but Ernesto's question gave her something to focus on. It took her a bit to be able to speak, but shaky words slipped past her colored lips. "It was more what happened to me." Memories of her time away from the island began to creep to the surface, but she wasn't ready.

She couldn't handle those memories! Forgetting those stallions was the main reason she reverted back to her adolescent years. The reality was she was no longer a young mare, but one quickly falling to age. She wasn't ready to open up to anyone especially not in the same moment she realized Soljor was gone. She missed her life with him. Blue eyes glance at Ernesto with a sad expression before she turns and runs off. Thankfully, shaky limbs still carried her successfully away without another fall. Augustine looks at his father, shrugs his little shoulders, then follows after his dam.
