Honestly, Zjeena has never met a mute before, but she enjoys facing new challenges head on. In a gentle whiff of greeting she is acquainted with her new herd mate. The other mare may not speak plainly though words, but her body language is reads clearly enough. She is not threat, at least not in this moment. Perhaps a friendship is on the horizon, but only time will tell.
Though Zjeena is prime candidate for lead mare, she is still new. Their small herd is still in its infancy and there is much for both she and Liland to learn, about each other, about these islands, and about their neighbors. "Warsaw? Is he an ally?" Zjeena questions Liland. She missed the part of the conversation detailing a battle. Surely someone who offers a mare must be an ally, but his name is not spoken with warmth.
If there is conflict among them, Zjeena should be aware. As their herd grows, she'll have new souls to protect. She needs to understand their enemies if she is to help Liland keep them safe.
