Wouldn't some captain, after he gave the order "Right standard rudder, commence firing!" just love to hear from his junior OOD, "Sir, I think that was ill-considered, we might be straying into territorial waters, and that target yonder may very well have innocent civilians nearby. Suppose we go left full rudder, check fire." Such is the influence of PC professor on softheaded middies.
