She had watched the stallion for a few moments before he saw her and she didn't know what to make of what she saw. For the most part, he was just grazing but every once in a while, a rabbit or bird would get too close for his liking and he would take off after it, gnashing his teeth looking for all the world like he'd kill the poor creatures if he ever got them in his reach. She watched, mesmerized by the purpose in his eyes. He looked so roguish and handsome with that devil may care look in his eyes. The other horses around eyed him like he had rabies or something but she was drawn like a moth to the flame.

Strength was shown in domination in her world. A true stallion was only worthy if he wasn't afraid to show his teeth. The roan was a little younger than her judging by his gangly figure but he was going to be a contender when he grew into those legs. His coat was a magical mixture of dark and light, blending and mixing with each other in splotches and specks like the light could never fully defeat the dark. Not as exotic as her lizard king in Paradise but just as mesmerizing in his own way.

When his eyes met her own, he tossed his head, full of fire and spit. She loved it, her own fore limb reaching out to paw at the ground daringly, snorting as her tail whipped at her flanks. He did the same, pawing the ground as he arched his neck before slowly moving toward her. She felt strangely like a prey animal being stalked by a predator. Her skin got that familiar tingle and she stomped a back hoof, standing her ground while keeping an ear and an eye on him the whole time.
