How Shall I Believe
How is it that I shall believe?
In love, with faith? In what might be?
Blindly in the unforeseen?
How shall I find solace?
With God through prayer?
In us, if given time to heal our pain?
How Shall we mend?
Give respect and not blame?
Forgive and forget?
Be lovers and friends once again?
How shall I believe?
When every step I take in faith
Betrays me.
