Neon was grazing comfortably near the shore because the sound of the waves relaxed her. She was pregnant with her very first foal and she was nervous for winter and nervous about carrying this foal. It is not long before the stallion is rushing her. He is unfamiliar and her ears go back. If she hadn't been pregnant she probably would have moved as he wanted but as it were she was pregnant and there was no way this stallion was taking her from here without a fight. So when he snaked his head out to make her move she struck out with a forehoof not caring if she hit his face or not. It was a warning.

Then there was another racing toward them, but this time Neon knew her it was Vita Nova her lead mare. Her nostrils flare as the stallion is still trying but not long after a second warning is sent his way is Vita between them. She does not move, however; as she didn't want this stallion thinking she was a coward or anything. It seems Nova knows this stallion but also knows their stallion would come and rip him to shreds if he is caught trying to steal a mare.you know him?Was all she asked calmly eyeing the stallion warily.
