Quinn and Joker slept as it was the only thing they could think of doing since they were hungry and tired and not able to find anything to drink since all their minds told them to do was nurse from their mother. So they slept instead curled up together for warmth and comfort. It was only maybe ten minutes before their "mother" called to them and Quinn was the first to struggle to her feet. Her spindly legs pushing her up.
Snorting the little filly moved toward the mare again and this time when she attempted to nurse she got milk and greedily started nursing from her. Her little tail swishing side to side. Her ears forward.
Joker took a little longer to react but soon was on his own four legs and walking to the other side of the mare where he as well began to suckle. His own little tail going side to side. They suckled for about 5 minutes before being satisfied and leaving her side to groom each other.
