Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

-THERE IS NO HONOR AMONG THIEVES

Raider didn't seem all that enthusiastic to the herd rankings, but those would help him become Boss one day once Cullen was done with it. Honestly, the palomino saw no other position worth his time. Leading a normal herd of mares was ridiculous to him and everything else was beneath him. Boss of the Lagoon was exactly his place in this world, but he was getting older. He may be in his prime now, but after a few years, he may feel differently about leading these men. He would need to stay fit and strong as long as possible.

He would have to keep spry around the younger generation coming in. They were the future leaders of this place. If Raider wanted to be a Boss someday he would teach him so maybe the young stallion might defeat him as he aged or take over when he died. For now, he would have to settle for a lower-ranking position. The topic changes to his runaway sister. Cullen's ears stand on attention as he listens to his young brother talk. Seems His relationship with his sister was not all that well (at least from he was gathered from Raider's speech). Cullen laughs deep from his chest. How this young man talked was so much like him at that age.

His head nods at Raider as he speaks his own opinion. "I think we will get along Raider. I, too, believe a mare's only purpose is to listen to our demands. We are the stronger sex after all." He watches Raider's body language for any signs of resistance to what he had just said. "I will let my cousin know, but I'm sure he will be fine. He is no weakling when it comes to mares. Warsaw has many children running around and one will even be joining us upon weaning next year." He could not wait to have more family to properly teach the way of the stallion. The mothers always tried corrupting the colts to act nice.
