He was sure Morgan had picked up on enough scents around the free lands since he'd been here. The wolves around Moladian didn't hide much anymore, even the ones that used the shadows to do their darker deeds. The male looked curious for a moment but he kept his thoughts to himself and Exodus didn't push, wanting to earn the wolf's trust. Exodus couldn't help the way his own eyes must have lit up at the idea of Morgan having a daughter. He would always think of his only daughter, Lucia, with love and affection. She was everything he'd ever wanted in a daughter and with her and Malleah in his life, he felt complete. When Exodus warned the male of the dangerous wolves in Moladian, he heard the noise the male made before repeating one word. Exodus nodded his head with a sigh of displeasure.

"Yes, unfortunately, there are cannibals, vampires, and just plain killers for fun around Moladian. Not as many here lately as there has been in later years, but they still exist." He felt it only right for Morgan to know what his daughter will face here. The other wolf seemed curious enough of Exodus' own daughter, or least, what he'd taught her. At first, Exodus thought he might have insulted the male by saying he taught his daughter to defend herself. Maybe the male thought females should not be fighting at all. Exodus would rather she not have to but he wasn't so naive. He knew it might come down to it in a survival situation and he wouldn't leave Lucia unprepared. Instead, Morgan only seemed curious so Exodus smiled and nodded to his question.

"Yes, a little. Not so much offense as defense. I want her to know how to dodge and find an escape, if possible, but I don't want her to ever feel cornered and helpless if it came down to it." His eyes softened with worry as he said it, already picturing Lucia in a bad situation. It was all too real, especially with Azure out there somewhere in Moladian. At Morgan's next question, he tilted his head in thought a little before offering a shrug. "To be honest, I'm not that clever myself and Lucia, though sweet and charming enough, I fear she is too kind hearted to see a snake when she's staring one in the eyes. She always sees the good in others." He knew most parents would be only proud of their daughter for being so pure but he could only think of the danger in the world, having seen some of it first hand in his lifetime.

Morgan seemed to be hinting at something but Exodus only arched a brow and waited patiently for him to say more. He couldn't help but chuckle good naturedly when Morgan told him that his daughter was off wandering. Exodus nodded. "Yes, Lucia can't keep still, either. She's always out wandering. I guess that's why I worry all the time." His smile softened in understanding when Morgan spoke next and he nodded again. "No, its definitely not. I left and came back but it wasn't easy to leave or return."
