As I’m sure you’re all aware, we’ve had many issues with B2G for a number of years now. I’ve submitted numerous complaints to B2G and they’ve not made any changes, so it’s unlikely that they’re going to.
Merl and I are not keen for a shift to forums and I can’t afford to hire a professional web developer to code boards for us, but fortunately there is another free board option in the form of BoardHost. Their style is similar to B2G with a few differences. We’ve decided to do a trial run of BoardHost for the next couple of months to give you a taste of it and see what you think. Any final decision to move board hosts will be made by the community as a whole.
The boards which have been switched to BH boards are Updates, Kingswood, Laketon and Stone Dragon. The original B2G boards are linked from each so you can still access your old posts and threads. A channel on Discord called #bh-feedback has been set up so you can send us your thoughts as and when they come to you. BH has a lot of options and settings I haven’t played around with much so if there’s an adjustment you’d prefer, put it in that channel and I’ll see if I can change the settings.
If you want to test how your HTMLs will work on the BH boards, please use the Updates trial board with ‘test’ as the subject.

To encourage use, especially as we’re all a little sluggish with posting at the moment, Here are a few challenges for you to undertake! With prizes, of course.
1. Complete an IC post on one of the trial boards. Prize: +10 points
2. Claim a free Prayer Ring (your choice of deity) on the updates trial board. Free Prayer Ring.
3. Post at least once on all four of the trial boards. Prize: Medium Gift Card
4. Send us your thoughts in the #bh-feedback channel on Discord. Prize: Divinity-Infused Rat.
5. Test a HTML on the Updates trial board. Prize: +5 points.
6. Post on any IC trial board a continuation of a thread which begun on the old B2G board. Prize: +20 points.
7. Post in the start of a new thread on any IC trial board. Prize: 200$
8. Do three posts or more in a speed thread on any IC trial board. Free item of your choice worth up to 500$
9. Complete 5 IC posts on the trial boards. Prize: 800$.
10. Complete 10 IC posts on the trial boards. Prize: your choice of gift box.
