Never let me go

She had no friends here to make her stay tolerable and she did not like the company of a certain black Freisian mare let along the speech of the beast that held her here. Her only hope for sanity was to get lost in her head. Her eyes would close as she grazed and she would image the golden feilds around her with that cold wind that would be blowing by around this time. She imagined the movement in her belly to be from her second child with Shamwari.

She knee what was really happening here. She couldn't stay tucked away in a happy place forever so sometimea she came to reality. She would look over Rougaru and his two mares and watch how they interacted. That fiesty black mare was round with his baby, but the young paint mare seemed to resist his urges. Sanibel has never spoken to the paint, but from what she saw her personality seemed to match with the other mare's. Only one may be pregnant, but Sanibel believed she would not get along with the paint either.

A deep sigh left her as her emeralds gaze over the glistening sea. She wonders if Shamwari was on the other side thinking of her. She wonders if he gazes out as she does and longs for her return. Her thoughts were enterupted by the stench of the beast that held her captive. His skin brushes against her swollen barrel and the child seems To shift towards his warmth. Sanibel felt sorry for the babies that would know this beast as their father. She worries her child might end up like Warsaw.

This was a similar situation her sister had been in. Pregnant with a beast's child and dispite her mothering, the child still turns out to be a monster. She fears the same will happen to her child. The beasts's words carry to her perked ears. She has learned to accept her fate here and no longer tries to resist Rougaru's wishes. She hates his touch, but she handles it for fear of never going back home. "Yes." She answers his question though she does not wish to be vunerable around him. It was inevitable. He then asks about his child.

Her skin prickles, but she swallows the lump in her throat. "Ready to be born." She does not look st the beast, but stays longing over the sea. She wishes him to set her free, but she knows she would not be able to take the strong waters at this stage in her pregnancy. He probably knows this. Even after the child is born she could not risk a swim right away in fear the chils might drown. Maybe that would be the foal's best fate because she had no clue with Shamwari would do when she returns with a newborn.
