Today, Friday 13, 2019, at 12:55 PM, I saw what looked to be a medium sized Mountain Lion cross Birnie Avenue in West Springfield. It crossed from west to east out of the wooded area and back into the wooded area on the other side or the road following the Goldine Brook.
The animal crossed the road in a normal walking manner. I was about 200-250 feet away. It was sunny, warm, and there was no traffic in sight at this time. I saw the animal for about 15-20 seconds. It appeared to me to be about 80-90 Lbs. The animals color to me looked like it was a medium tan color.
