Make sure to let the cut grass solarize in garbage bags for about 10 days. This will make sure that any of the living tissue that could still re-establish is dead. If you contact the District of Muskoka, the operators of the landfill will clear an area for you to drop it off in. I believe the cost is $190/ton.
