IMHO, the absence of the principle of unity is threatening our nation. Neither party remembers the slogan "United we stand; divided we fall" motto that sustained us through all previous struggles. Just once, I would like to hear politicians from both parties strive for the principle of national unity. Trump doesn't do it, and neither do any of the Socialist-Democrat candidates. If a candidate emerged with this goal, I'd vote for him/her.
