NATURE BARRIE TINY MARSH OUTING

TINY MARSH IN FALL
Sunday, September 22, Paul Forde

Phone- 705 725 0750
Come along with us to Tiny Marsh, as it is an Important Bird Area.
Meet at Sears parking lot on Bayfield at 7:30.a.m.

Tiny Marsh might be the richest spot for migrating birds in Simcoe County. It’s just outside of Elmvale, and it’s a giant wetland with a great diversity of birds and other wildlife. Surrounding and through the marshes are wooded walking trails that take you into and around the wetlands. The woods and marsh host visiting waterfowl, warblers, vireos and when there, we always keep an eye out for owls and hawks. This is a great chance to see many species. Easy walking. Dress for the weather. Bug spray, long pants. The walk will end by noon. Bring a picnic lunch.
