Whistling

Back when I delivered newspapers during WW2 I got pretty good at whistling which was quite popular at that time when we had no portable devices like today. After I married I quickly learned that my wife objected for some reason so I no longer whistled when she was present. I recently recalled that a guy named Elmo Tanner was a great whistler and made a hit recording which included a song entitled "Heartaches". I went online,found his recording and told my wife to come and listen. She did and commented that if I had been even close to his ability to whistle she would have been happy to hear me "put my lips together and blow". Thanks Lauren Becall for those words!
