Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Is that the best you can do?

It happened in just a few heartbeats, not long after she had called ut to her children, she could suddenly hear Cullens voice, upset and angry as he came storming towards her. Not even for a second did she flinch, she stood her ground and although she halted, she stayed, calmly looking at him. Her beautifully cupped ears clipped at the words he said, and she frowned for a few seconds. How dared he scold her for coming here, when she had done so much for him already? She flicked her tail angrily and pierced him with her blue eyes, like she’d rip him a new one any second now.
“Oh fuck you, I’ve been walking for months to introduce them to you. It was you who left me while pregnant, to birth and raise twins on my own. And where were you? Apparently here, living the time of your life.”
Her words were harsh, but that was just how she was. No matter what she felt for the guy, she wanted to tell him a thing or two. She wanted to put him in his place. She wasn’t a mare that you could simply trample over and do what you wanted with, she demanded justice after how he had left her.

“I won’t tell anyone, but you’re in no fucking position to complain that I’m here, you need to take responsibility for your actions.”
The white mare raised her head stubbornly and looked over to her twins before looking at their father once more. She couldn’t explain why she felt so connected to him, but here she was, insisting on having him in her life again, in her children’s lives.
“Their names are Verrat and Wytch.”
She watched them, saw how the black filly with her striking blue eyes looked carefully at the man that was supposed to be her father. She wasn’t sure yet about the whole situation, and kept in the back. She was careful, not frightful, but she thought twice before doing anything. In that sort of sense, she had inherited her mothers’ calculative personality.
