Larka does not miss the gauntness in his eyes of the dull color of his skin as the stallion lingers beside her now. Sympathy tugs at her soul as she watched him nudge Bran back. He tried to put on a strong front, but Larka could tell he was weary and tired. A part of her almost felt guilty about asking to visit Shamwari at a time like this, when he needed his herd close by but well she could not deny the call of her own soul. She needed this.

He asks that she leave Bran with him and for a moment there is a sense of doubt that crosses her gaze. Did he not think she a capable mother? Did he think she would risk the life of their newborn? Was he using their child as a ploy to keep her here? Surely not.

For a moment she stands still, stiff against the words he speaks as though there were a winter's wind whipping across her summer skin. It was not a threat spoken, but there was an underlying tone to his voice that made her worry. None the less she does her best to shake off the ill ease. "You have nothing to fear." she murmurs, stretching her silver white neck to allow ashen muzzle to lip lightly at the standing locks of his mane. "I will be back soon." she murmurs, dark lashes blinking slowly over silver blue eyes.
