Nova felt out of place here in the Inlet. When initally she met the herd, it was clear to her where their loyalties lay... and those were not the same loyalties as her own. It irked Warsaw's nerves that she managed to escape with Leviathan. No matter the cold eyes or gleaming hatred that lingered in the gray stallion's eyes, she would not betray her son for him. He would not know anything more than that she had taken him to the mainlands and freed him from his father's reach.

Nova had given up any hopes of finding a companion here among the Inlet herd. The smokey colored queen seemed too far up Warsaw's ass to think of any but herself and well what other mares Nova had met seemed equally as thrilled at befriending the queen as they were mooning over the strong stallion.

However settled here and now, apart from the rest of the herd she felt a sense of comradery building with the red pangere mare. Despite herself she feels the tension and suspicion ebb away, tense muscles replaced by relaxed. Ylva speaks again and by the sorrow in her eyes Nova knows the meaning of her words. Dead. The foals were abandoned because their mother was dead. A glimmer of sympathy flashed through her silver blue eyes as she nods solemnly.

Nova was not quite sure where Ylva's allegiance lay, so for a moment her slip had caused that tension to reappear in her muscles. It was not that Warsaw scared her.... well, truthfully he terrified her, but she was not about to admit that to him or to anyone else. However at the pangere mare's quiet words a knowing chuckle rumbled from deep within the obsidian mare's chest. Silver blue eyes glimmer with amusement as she dipped her own head, "Yes, perhaps it does give him more credit than he is due." she remarked with a snort.
