Those who have strength and courage will never perish in misery;

So far, Nova had been blessed to be free of Warsaw's constant presence. During breeding season, it had taken effort to avoid his gaze, lingering along the shadows, hiding herself among the cliffs and thick forests of conifer and cedar. She had let the pale stallion take her beneath him, knew in the moment that he tensed above her that there was no going back. She knew that her fertile body would take his seed and as predicted her body soon began to swell with child. It was easy to blend in with the rest of his mares at that point, clearly the gray stallion had more on his mind than which mares he had covered... and that suited her just fine. She had defied him. It may only be her secret now, but it was still a secret that left her cackling like an evil witch on the inside.

But it could not last forever.

He comes, as she knew he would eventually, his ears pinned and eyes dark. She knew that there was no way of claiming this child to be his now. As beautiful as the pale golden filly was, there was no way he fine features or brightly glowing skin was the result of the gray stallion's seed. He ambles closer, his words tart and cold as he fixed her with his dark eyes hard. Defiantly she lifts her own small muzzle, silver blue eyes glittering fiercely in the early morning light. "I'll never submit to you!" she spits, eyes gleaming like glaciers. Long black tail flicks slowly back and forth against her haunches, as she shifts her position, turning her rump away from him, standing protectively over top of the sleeping filly. She had not let the golden stallion mount her out of pleasure, she had not enjoyed the fear that lingered in her mind or the worry that Warsaw would search for her. He was angry, tampered down clearly by the queen's newborn twins but still she knew that she walked a fine blade here and despite herself that fear that lingered in her belly began to grow.

"You will not touch her. Not while there is still a beat to my heart." she growls, arching her sleek obsidian serpentine. She knew deep down that she could not stop him. He was larger than she was, more powerful and despite her determination she knew that she had made it a challenge and for as long as she had known him he did not back down from a battle be it wits or strength. If she wanted to free herself and Tuari of him she would have to be cunning. A single brow arches towards him as supple hips sway beyond his reach, "Watch your back Warsaw. Ill be of you yet and you will never father another of my offspring"
