He remembers that day he came after the small perlino dun. He had seen Jabari shielding her away as Shamwari charged after him. That was one time Shamwari was successful in besting his efforts, but Cullen was determined to beat him in battle one day. It was one reason Cullen trains with his associates and builds up his lagoon to stand against the stallion when the time came. It seems their relationship was taking an interesting turn as the red stallion has shown up on his shore with his red and white son. Shamwari does not hesitate and begins to speak his reason for being in his lagoon.

Typical the first thing he says would be an insult. Cullen's blues narrow onto the red stallion and in his mind, he was taring him limb from limb. He would let him continue to live, but only on the thought that Shamwari had an interesting reason for being here right now. He wants to laugh at the stallion's reaction to his voice, but he keeps his voice at bay. His next words come shockingly to Cullen's ears. "Help? After insulting my home?" He couldn't keep his snide remarks back any longer. How could he help? Cullen doesn't believe Shamwari's words, but his next set of words shocks him yet again.

Shamwari was here to teach his son a lesson by leaving him in the lagoon for a few months. Cullen was intrigued by this. He might have refused just to get Shamwari mad, but the facts were his lagoon did need more members. Who knows, Jabari may even find he likes it here. Ruger? Did he say Ruger? "Ah, Ruger so that is where that stallion had gone." He mutters wondering why Ruger had chosen to live with Shamwari than stay in the lagoon at the start of his rule. He was here long enough to impregnant his mother, but she had birthed a daughter to his dissapointment.

Cullen was interested to see what experiences Jabari could bring his men, but Shamwari had a catch. Of course he did. Cullen switches which hoof he held his weight on as he listens to the red stallion's terms. So Jabari was temporary, but he also had to agree to not attack Luthien in the process. This was a bit of a stretch, but he guessed he could manage. "I guess I could give your island some peace for two seasons, but only those two." He was very clear the peace would not be permanent. As soon as this was over Cullen would be free to do as he liked again.

His eyes now fall on Jabari. The stallion seems nervous. "Well come on then Jabari. Come meet the stallions and show them your experience. I'm sure they will be glad to learn from you." He motions his head for Jabari to come closer. He waits for Jabari to join his side and Shamwari to depart his lagoon.
