any other name would smell as sweet

It felt like fate that Han comes to her so easily. She does not call out and she does not wait long before Han appears. He comes in that same calm state she met him in, but Primrose knows he is different. To her, he was coming into his body and this time apart has done well for his appearance. He was no longer just the colt she befriended, but the stallion she was attracted to. Prim had wanted to come to see him and play. She had snuck back over without Ro a couple of times, but both times he was walking around with an older mare. The mare was probably his mother, but Prim didn't dare to venture towards them for fear she might get in trouble. He was finally alone, with her, but she couldn't focus on the changes they have made since their time apart. Primrose was going through a rough patch and Han was the only one she thinks of when she needs someone to run to. She had to get away from the Prarie and talk to someone outside of her situation. Han was a perfect candidate.

Green eyes wander his stallion body. His darkened golden coat was one of the many attractive features Han had. Her favorite was the gentleness in his eyes. He speaks simple words, but they send Prim into a frenzy of tears. The palomino races towards him and presses her skull against his chest. Han was much taller than she remembers. She cries, her shoulders rise and fall dramatically, and she wheezes as she tries to catch her breath. After several minutes she begins to calm down. "Oh, Han..." She speaks between sniffles. She keeps her forehead tightly pressed to his chest. After this outburst, it would be too embarrassing to look him in the eyes. "My mother was taken from the herd by a bad stallion. A month has gone by and she hasn't returned home. I'm scared Han." Han didn't have to say anything, Prim was already feeling better just getting out her cry.

She collects herself for a few minutes before she finally pulls away from the sooty buckskin. Her green eyes stay on the forest floor where she does not look to see the shock, or whatever, was on Han's face right now. "I'm sorry." She apologizes, but Han seems to take her outburst well. "I needed someone to talk to and you were the only one I could think of to go to." Maybe it was all the emotions she was having lately, but she just kept talking. She couldn't stop herself. "I always think about you. I tried to come back to see you several times, but I kept chickening out." She sighs heavily before her watery greens finally rise to the taller stallion.
