Her voice was warm and inviting. His lead mare shows she was happy to see him, but the same could not be said about Neon. It was clear she picked up on his ques to beat it, but she wasn't happy about it. The bay roan made her exit in a dramatic fashion that causes Warsaw's eyes to roll. He wouldn't chase after her because his main focus was being here with Vita Nova and his new heirs. Dispite Neon's display, Vita seems to go right into a new converstation with him. She comments on how perfect their boys were and follows with a thank you. He was a bit shocked because no one has ever thanked him before. Usually, mares were happy with his foals and he told them they did a good job and his child(s) looked strong. This time someone was actually thanking him for this precious moment, thinking him for giving her his seed. "You're welcome." What else could he say?


Vita Nova was a relationship he has never experienced before.

The fine line of hate and love was always being danced on when he was with Morrgian. They always showed each other tough love, they physically fought, and he had even raped her once. Their relationship had ultimately ended in hatred. He still thought about the tall Freisian mare every now and then, but every moment he spent with Vita Nova was fading those memories away. He did not wish to hurt the smokey mare. He wanted to keep her close, protect her, and keep her his own mate.

There was a lot of frustration with his current relationship, but they always seem to find each other again. Most of the drama came from the goals he had set for himself as a young stallion and that he didn't get along with her family. Morrigan, on the other hand, seemed to have done things just to rile him up. She encouraged the bad in him where Vita Nova makes him feel...nicer I guess. His mission of conquest and power was realized with Morrigan. He would have been a powerful warlord by now with her at his side, but as fate had it, he left her. He was too afraid of his deepening feelings for the mare and he had avoided her at all costs for fear of getting shacked up too early. He left the islands just so he wouldn't fall further into her grasp. That mare could have manipulated him anyway she wanted, but he got away. There had to be a reason he left her and there had to be a reason Morrigan so easily jumped in bed with his enemy. Maybe the reason was Vita Nova.

Vita Nova may have slept with another stallion after their first steamy mating session, but he barely knew her then. He might have stolen her from this other stallion and not know it. He took Tavas as his own when he usually would have abused and used the foal (kill it if it was colt). Instead he did whatever he felt was necessary to keep her at his side. He promised to leave Shamwari alone dispite the stallion's constant attacks against him. He might not be able to stop every bad thing he does, but slowly the mare was changing him. He would have never made a legitimate deal with a mare before now. He had even thought about retaliating after Jabari appeared on his beach, but just his image of Vita in the back of his head stopped him. He didn't want her to leave.

He waits until Neon was further away (though she still lingers), until no one else was around. He watches the surroundings until all was quiet and he was sure. Warsaw was a very private stallion when it came to feelings. No one could know because even his friends could tip off his enemies. Grey head turns back to his lead mare. He leans into her warm body with dark eyes watching their boys in their first hours of life. Finally, he whispers the words back. "I love you too."
