live life to the fullest

It seemed to happen in slow motion, like a nightmare come to life. She was walking the shoreline, more focused on the water licking at her heels and the tides rolling in to notice the movement further out to sea until it was too late. She snorted as the water got a little high for her taste again, rounding over her hooves before washing back into the sea. She has just turned to make another lap when she heard the loud splashing. As she raised her head, her eyes rounded like saucers and her breath caught in her throat. A stallion was running right toward her, and he didn't smell of Persephone or the forest. What was happening? Her tail tucked and she back peddled away from him as he got closer, ears flicking back and forth in uncertainty. When she heard his words, she gave a soft snort, her head ducking in submission even as her gaze tried to read his expression.

"A journey?" She noticed at the same time that he had stopped right in the middle of the only path she could take to get back up on shore and into the forest, to her herd. Fear gripped her heart as she realized he was here to take her. His lips curled into a smirk and she gasped, backpeddling some more until the water reached her knees. She didn't even notice this time, her eyes never leaving the stallion as her ears pinned to her head. "No, please don't make me. I'm scared of the water!" Her head snapped around as she heard yet more splashing and her heart thumped, hoping it wasn't reinforcements to drive her into the sea. She let out a breath of relief when she saw Persephone's familiar figure though. The other mare made her way between them and Creed felt herself relax just a little, though her body gave a shiver at the thought of what might have just happened.

She watched Persephone's body language as she pinned her ears and tossed her head, asking if the stallion was lost before telling him to get lost. Creed's own ears pinned as she recognized the name. Warsaw. The stallion who had tried to steal her before and Persephone had gone in her stead. So here he was again. Her lips quivered in fear as she eyed the stallion from around Persephone's shoulder. Hopefully he would just leave now.
