She stood on her side of the border in the dunes as she scented the air and called to who ever might be roaming the lands adjacent to hers. She did not care to have enemies living next door so she at least hoped to come to some kind of alliance. However; she wouldn't rush anything. Her skin was not perfect but scarred in places showing her battle wounds proudly.
Her ears twitch as they catch a scream and then she sees the stallion heading her way. Why did he have to scream? Well that was a strange way of calling out but she shook it off as she stood on her side of the border of their lands. She did not flinch at his approach what so ever.
But his words cause her ears to go back and she moves to position herself firmly between her son and the stallion. i am not bringing you anything persay stallion, I was curious to find out who was living beside my herd. The dunes and the horses who reside in the dunes are my herd. And he is my sonShe says calmly. One ear remains back but the other is on the stallion and she stands at her full height.
She had not trespassed and had no plans to do such a thing. However; She did not know if he would dear to trespass on her land or worse go after her son who was in the dunes. I had hoped to make allies out of who ever moves in to the desertShe says keeping her body positioned to defend her colt and also defend herself, her home and her herd.
