Everything is so surreal. The sight of Hannah and their newest child catch the breath in his chest and pitch his heart into his throat. Moments like this will never lose their intensity. It's like reliving his first meeting with Yngvar all over again. Tarek has never seen anything more beautiful than Hannah and a child they will raise together. Tarek's joy is too much to contain and it escapes in the form of diamond tears shimmering in his eyes, the curling of a smile, and the shaking of his breath.

"I love it." He manages to choke out some words of agreement. Black Out is a strong and unusual name, perfect for the second son of such a pairing. The strength of their bond will be the strength of their children. A monogamous relationship among horses is unusual, but it works or Tarek right now, and perhaps it works for Hannah too.

Tarek gives Yngvar's shoulder a rough, playful nudge. Words aren't going to change the colt's mind right now, and Tarek didn't expect them to, but Tarek needed to say them as much as Yngvar needed to hear them. They may only be words but they hold a certain truth. A little brother is not a replacement. Words will plant the seed of such truth, but reinforcing this these words with actions over the next several weeks should grow this truth into a revelation Yngvar can believe.

Leaving his eldest son to come to terms with their growing family on his own time, Tarek takes a step forward to greet little Black Out. "Hey. I'm your daddy", he murmurs, and extends his snout in gentle hello. The stallion's nostrils flare, drinking in the sweet scent of newborn. He casts a momentary glance to Hannah. His eyes are full of love and his smile full of pride.

He also offers a grateful nod a Creed as she departs. It's nice to know Hannah has made friends here, and he's glad someone like Creed can be there for Hannah.
