Since his battle with Vasilisa, Rougaru had found himself spending less and less time around the dark colored mare and his equally dark son. This did not mean that he cared any less for the boy, simply that there were other priorities that had arisen and demanded his attention. Despite losing a battle for the island, Liland had still continued to be a thorn in his side.

He had to give it to the cream stallion, despite yet another hard battle lost, Liland was relentless in his determination to retrieve his queen. He should have thought about that before he ever crossed Rougaru in the first place. A harsh snort slips from his lips as the coffee colored stallion gives his proud head a toss and sends a hard gaze towards the the Ridge. He had meant what he said to the desert stud... he would retrieve his painted viper and if the stallion did not abide by his wishes for penance, then he would take the stallion's herd.

The sound of the colt's sneeze bring's Rougaru back from his distant thoughts and plans and emerald green eyes fixate upon the young boy. A single dial flickers as he pauses for a moment, watching as the boy paws at the rabbit hole before giving up and moving off to graze nearby. An amused smile flickers across his whiskered lips as he turns towards the boy and offers him a warm nicker in greeting. He knew that Vasilisa was no doubt not far away, she never ventured far from Noctis, especially after the snake attack. A single dial flickers towards her before turning his attention once more to Noctis. "You know..." he begins an impish smile on his face, "Rabbits usually have a second entrance to their burrow... it's hard to catch them if it is just you... but maybe between the two of us we can find that second entrance." he murmurs nudging the colt's rump, a twinkle in his green eyes.
