Björn's crystal eyes linger where the slight swelling still remains. "Cool water will soothe tha' ache." He offers, it was a simple trick he had learned from a healer. She had many tricks to heal the aches, bruises and swelling that he had most commonly had. He assumes it was from trial and error. He had experienced before the relief that cool water could give to a swollen pastern.

He chuckles as she mentions that the snake had crawled off to nurse a hoofmark. "It seems that you are able to fend for yoursel'." His accent thick. He flicks his ears atop his thick skull. "Where is it tha' you call home?" It has been some time since he has been on the Islands. He was curious to see how much has changed since his time here.

He knows that time does not stand still for no man. That even if you could will it to, it would ignore you and continue on its way. Even the child as he laps at the water, will soon be a grown man. Björn another year older, and his mother will have given birth to another child.
