I think some of the civil service people at the State Department need reminding that it's the president who sets foreign policy. In a nutshell, they are the peon followers charged with doing what he says. They have the responsibiltiy of making recommendations and then shut the F up and do what he says. As Lincoln once told his cabinet that had all voted against him with nays, "Looks like the Ayes have it."
