In thier past herd no one had mates, you either belonged to the lead stallion or the second. Her father had been the second in command and her mother was the second in command as well. She helped the lead mare get them to the places they had needed to go. He speaks that her mother is safe which means he knows hers. But then he speaks like a lot of stallions might so she is not phased by it. Typical stallion. I dare say if she considers herself yours would have to mean she has a rank with in your herd because my mother doesn't just listen to anyone, stallion or mareShe said calmly. HEr eyes watching for his reaction to her words.
She snorts at his title.Funny way herds are run here then, where I come from it just lead stallion lead mare second stallion second mare.
