bite me

He loved the smell of her fear. It really got his blood pumping. He got the sweet taste of her hide in his mouth as he bit her flanks and he groaned at the texture. God, how he'd missed that taste. She kicked out at him with a squeal and he braced himself, waiting for that pleasant sensation of pain. One of her hind hooves caught his shoulder and he grunted at the impact but almost leaned into it, letting the impact roll down his spine. Oh, that was lovely. At her words, he chuckled. "There are a lot of things wrong with me, love. We can't all be perfect." The words rolled off his tongue in a low growl. He could only curl his lips to sneer as she turned to face him, even glaring in his general direction. He loved it. She was a real fire cracker. He snorted as she said she wasn't going with him.

"Hey, you bumped into me, sweetheart. Now be an adult and face the consequences." As she started to back away, he clenched his jaw and glared at her legs, but knowing that she couldn't see it worked against him. How would he train her if she couldn't see the cues? He'd have to keep making up the rules as he went along. Snorting, he pawed the ground before launching forward, circling around behind her to get back in her path so she'd just back right into him if she kept doing it. There, that should show her there's really no escape. Then she started to scream and his skin got all tingly in anticipation. It got even better when he heard a sudden roar. Ears pricked as he turned his head, gaze settling on the smaller stocky stallion charging toward them. His lips curled even further back, eyes brightening up. "Oh, goody. Looks like you attract the live ones, honey." He practically purred at the mare as he stepped a little more to the side to face the stallion while keeping his haunches in the mare's path in case she was still backing up.

As the other stallion moved to get between them, Cain used his bulk to his advantage. He lunged forward when the other failed to slow down, jaws parted as he screamed his defiance, aiming to bite at the stallion's withers, neck, or even his face, anything to literally steer him away from the mare. He was her protector now, after all. As the stallion turned to face him, he lunged forward in a jump to come down toward the other, another roar coming from his parted jaws as he aimed for whatever part of the stallion he could reach as he continued to move forward. He would ram the other right out of the way if he had to, anything to bully him and physically move him. That was the way to dominate, right? With the humans, they knew if they moved your hooves, they were the leader. He would be the leader because he WOULD move this stallion.

When he heard the stallion speak, he sneered even wider, chuckling in his throat even as he continued to rain bites toward the other and started to lift up his fore legs, flailing and pawing at the stallion to drive him back. "Oh, don't worry, sweetheart. There's plenty of me to go around. Don't forget to reciprocate, though." His head snapped around when he smelled yet another mare. What was this? A two for one special? He watched as the mare squealed and came after him. Chuckling, he grunted as she snapped at his flank, pinching his flesh. "Oh, do it again, baby. I like it rough." He kept one ear on the mare as she circled around, even as he continued to face down the stallion. She yelled something but it wasn't anything he could understand. His ear flicked back in uncertainty but he flicked it back forward as she glared, chuckling again.

But as she moved closer to the blind mare, he snorted, his nostrils flaring in disapproval. He curled his lips back and lunged toward the mare, gnashing his teeth just to warn her not to touch what's his. "She is safe. If you want to join her, feel free. I've got plenty of room." She growled the words toward the mare, keeping an ear on her in case he needed to warn her off again. He couldn't keep most of his attention off the stallion and of course, he had to keep glancing at the blind mare to make sure she stayed put, too. Dang, is this what it was going to be like taking care of a herd? He'd stay in shape; that's for sure.
