Wayne Hughes 52' was one of my closest friends growing up on the South Side of Chicago. We went to the same High School and played on the Base Ball team. We were stationed in Washington at the same time on a couple of occasions. He lives near the the Navy Post Grad School. Every years he sends me his New Year's essay. Always a very thoughtful person.
