The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

He just didn't get it. Why was the stallion still around? He'd already drove him away once when he got between him and a mare who had wandered into the desert but now to continue to wander around like this land was free? It baffled and frustrated Cain. His nostrils flared as he let out an irritated snort, tail lashing at his flanks as he stomped the sand and continued to watch. He was about to charge the stallion and drive him completely from the island when he saw the other movement. Yet another mare seemed to materialize as if out of nowhere. What the hell? Was the stallion some kind of chick magnet or something? Cain's lips twitched as his teeth showed in a sliver of white. The mare didn't smell of a recent herd and she seemed to be following in his hoof steps but never once did they speak to each other or even act as if they acknowledged each other's presence.

The mare simply stepped up beside him and drank from the pool of water as if they were socializing in the open lands. Cain gnashed his teeth. No, this simply wouldn't do. Tossing his head, he reared up before launching himself forward, heading right for them. He charged right into the pool of water, splashing it in all direction until he stood before them both. He stared them both down, his eyes narrowed and his head raised in dominance. His gaze went to the stallion first. "This seems to be becoming a habit of yours to be places you shouldn't be." Then he looked at the mare. "And you seem to be lost, dove. What's your name? I'm Cain, leader of the Desert." One ear stayed on the stallion in case he tried something. He would have words for him but he'd rather not do it again in front of a lady. Apparently they didn't like that behavior.
