He murmers a comment about Solaris, but Celestria ignores it with a flick of her tail. Solaris was a lost cause in her eyes. The girl could never be fixed from her messy upbringing so Celestria decides to not focus on the girl any longer. All her motherly love would go into Beowulf and the next child she bears. All this love she had ready for Jericho would be wasted so someone should have it. It tool a lot for her to find joy in a child so she couldn't waste it. Quinn and Solaris didn't get her love. Jericho was the first to experience it, but she still failed him. Too much time was spent showing him off rather then caring for him. She would care for Beowulf like no child she has before.

Rougaru takes the moment to complement himself and his breeding skills. She expected as much out of him, but she still snorts with aggravation. Beowulf softens her and Rougaru seems to gladly give his offspring the room to question his new mother. She hopes this switching of mothers wouldn't scare the poor boy. Celestria did not know it, but the colt was actually a realtive of hers. Celestria was a daughter of Warsaw who was a son of a mare named Sojourner. Sojourner was full sister to Sanibel who birthed Beowulf. Beowulf is Celestria's second cousin (something like that :P).

Beowulf asks what they were like, but Celestria could see how heavy his eyes were getting. She lips at the top of head, around his ears and on his pale forehead. "Get some rest and when you wake up maybe we can visit them so you can see for yourself." She smiles and nudges the colt's head with her own. Usually she would save a tender moment like this for when they were alone, but she has decided she wantes a family with Rougaru. She hums a soft tone in the boy's ear. A sweet melody to rock him to sleep.
