She had mixed feelings about being back in Tinuvel. On one hand, this was the land her father was from. Solgar used to run the Inlet herd a long time ago when her mother joined his band and became pregnant. Her mother left before mid pregnancy and ended up giving birth off the islands. Sojourner returned with young Sabela and they met the stallion Midas and became apart of his herd. The two left again with the impending danger of Warsaw at their heels. Warsaw was a young leader back then, ruling the Inlet for a short while until he left.

Warsaw tracked them down and stole Sabela away. She spent years on the run wherever Warsaw dragged her. Herd to herd, place to place, until they finally returned to the islands where Warsaw reclaimed the Inlet. A few years were spend there before she was given to Liland and from there, well, you know the rest.

The mare may not be able to talk, but she did have an opinion about everything that was happening lately. Liland should be happy that he won back the Bay, but instead things seem to be worse. He was changing and that change was not something she liked. The other mares were beginning to say bad things about the Fjord she knew to be so sweet. Zjeena was back, but she had seen them fighting pretty intensely. Sabela didn't know what to think about any of this or what she would do about it. There was nothing she really could do, but keep her head down and focus on Rayna and the child growing in her belly.

She grazes on the dying grass, trying to find the last of the good tasting grass before winter hits. There wasn't much left so she didn't have much luck and quickly gave up on her efforts. Sorrowful eyes sweep over the Bay as she thinks of how this world was changing, how her happiness was changing.
