She can defend herself she knew this but being with foal she also knew she had to be careful or she could loose this foal and she didn't want to loose it. So she knew she had to find Bjorn, he had to know. It also gave her urgency to find other stallions to come live in the dunes to help protect them. But she had no clue where to start with that one. At first he is excited to see her probably thinking she just came to visit to further their bond but he soon realizes thats not the case.
