He stood his ground as he stares back at the intruders fraternizing with his prisoner. This would be troublesome for his large female captive because honestly he might have just kept the mare in a corner and let her lie there until someone won her back. Violence was the only thing he responded to, it was the only thing he respected when it came to these matters. Making deals and trades were not usually his thing, but he could give it a go if it matters that much. The only reason he continues to challenge the Peak was that they were easy targets and an easy way to get his bachelor's exposed to some mares. Mares helped make happy stallions.
The young mare stomps her hooves at him as if to say 'don't come any closer', but he can smell the fear on her. He would love to get a hold of her as she seems like an easy target for torture. Mind games, rape, violence. Most in her age group responded nicely to those acts, but it was the more strong-willed mares that sometimes posed more trouble than it was worth. He had a feeling he would get nothing out of the black Kladruber that he wants. She didn't need to give himself the time of day, but his men deserved some love. This stallion, on the other hand, could provide some good manpower for his herd. Cullen wouldn't forget their fight and the strength that lies behind that man's kicks.
Feeling surprised was not an emotion he thought would meet him in their grouping, but it did when his prisoner stepped forward. She assured him they were leaving in her foreign tongue that sent the hair on the back of his neck towards the sky. He did not know if he was attracted by her voice or annoyed by it, but he would figure that out later. Cullen was about to speak when the stallion says something to his mare, very clearly his mare, in a foreign language. He knew nothing that was said b the stallion, but his words didn't matter.
"Your friends have angered me mare." He says with an aggravated flick of his white tail.
Cullen takes a few steps closer to Bozena with eyes trained on the taller mare.
"I know nothing of your beliefs, but I won you in battle and I deserve my prize. Tell your stallion if he wants you back then he must make a sacrifice for losing our battle." His pick tongue escapes from the inside of his jaws and run along the outline of his lips as he takes a few more steps closer. This time he was close enough to reach out and touch her, but he refrains...for now.
"He can have you if you bare the child of the Lagoon." He says this in low tones, as if to only say it to Bozena, and reached his muzzle out towards her waiting for her to meet him the rest of the way.
"You must raise the child to survive and carry on our name." Blue eyes stare intensely into her own.
He wonders what kind of values this mare has. He was bound to find out in her answer. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be the end of this conversation. Cullen pulls away with his eyes now fixating on the two behind Bozena. His gaze mostly falls on Drika.
"You have brought another mare into my home. Such a pity." His head shakes as he finishes. Muscles clench beneath his skin as his sky blue eyes lock onto the large stallion he had previously defeated in battle.
"Your trespassing will cost you that mare, but I am willing to be merciful. The young mare can leave only if you stay, stallion, and aid me in my endeavors. This way you can have your mate problem-free as long as you fight alongside my bachelors and lend us your strength." A grin replaces the serious look of his face. He wonders just how much he could accomplish with this group.
