Another season was nearing its end, but it was this next season that had the Lagoon Boss working in overdrive. Fall usually brought stallions from all over following the scent trails of females in heat. Herd stallions kept their mares closer for fearing of them being taken advantage of and bachelors like himself began stalking pretty ladies. Cullen kept a close eye on the commons for mares to claim, but the sudden activity on the islands made the task impossible without some kind of fight. For now, he would stick to easier prey like the Peak to gather females to fill his Lagoon.

This was not only an opportunity to put the female's presence in his home but also to add new bachelors to his herd. The Lagoon was growing nicely now and he had to think it had something to do with the females he was claiming and taking from others. Before he started getting out across the islands his herd remained very small, but now it was booming with life. Everyone was beginning to know who ran the misfits of the Lagoon. Blue eyes scan his surroundings as Cullen reaches the wide-open meadow and casually makes his way towards a stream for a drink. He couldn't help but gaze up at the sky as the bright sun began to cast a glow of oranges, reds, and yellows, onto the sleepy land.

As his eyes fall down to his surroundings, he sees him. The injured stallion was one he remembered from earlier that day pretty vividly. The skinny cremello stallion had crawled upon his shores just paces away from where his prisoners grazed. Cullen thought he was after them, following their scent trails, so he quickly chased the stallion back into the sea. The weak stallion mutters some weird words he doesn't understand, but what Cullen does understand if his body language. He was warning him, but Cullen just snickers. He could hardly be a threat in his state.

Words Cullen could understand pass through the stranger's lips and he nods. "You look rough." He chuckles, lowering his lips to the stream for a drink. There was no longer something he was protecting so the Boss relaxes as he drinks near the other stallion. His head rises and he looks at the stallion once more with water dripping from his lips. "Sorry about that ear." He says, eyeing the stallion's wound. He thought about saying more, but the situation was kind of awkward as it was. After some silence, he finally manages an offer of peace to the stallion. " You may rest in my Lagoon for the night if you need a place to stay." His eyes shift to the surroundings around them. "It is the least I can do for attacking you." He did feel a little bad about attacking the stallion, but he had his reasons.
