They were at odds, both too awkward to say anything and both too wary to step closer. She had no reason to believe he meant her any harm but after the recent scare with Warsaw, she couldn't be too sure of anything. Though he seemed harmless, it could be a ruse. He looked like he was on a mission though and she wished there was some way she could help. If only she had better information for him. She could see the worry in his eyes when she said that she hadn't seen the mare he described. He looked almost sickly for a moment and she took a hesitant step toward him, her muzzle reaching out in concern. He wasn't going to throw up, was he? Poor thing. Finally he sighed and said thanks anyway and she could read the defeat in his body language. It made her feel wore down all of a sudden, too. Then he asked if she heard anything, if she would let him know. Feeling hopeful that she could help in any way, she lifted her head and nodded. "Of course." He said that he lived in the Prairie and told her his name was Roheryn de Mikhail. She thought it was a rather long and funny name but she nodded in acknowledgement. He said that Mikhail was his father's name and Roheryn, his own. She smiled. "I'm Creed." Much shorter and of course, he knew where she was from since he'd found her here. Once they had given their names, he turned for home and she watched as he silently headed back. Her tail swished behind her as a new determination set in. Maybe she could help find the mare! Two horses looking were better than one, right? Plus it gave her something to do. But how to look without getting off the island? That would pose a problem. Okay, first thing's first.
